Offshore windfarm fire protection and detection system

Blaze was asked to design, supply, install and commission a fire protection and detection system on an offshore windfarm for a new build asset which would interface with the client’s SCADA system.

Using our multi-disciplined teams that have the skills, technology and resources to deliver the most challenging and complex projects, we provided a full project management service for the installation which was coordinated around other contractors working on the plant.

With the project being overseas, we designed a solution that would allow us to install using hand tools only. From the initial risk assessment through to the installation of a fire safety system, we carried out a professional, efficient and high-quality installation on the offshore wind farm.
